if there was no league, no argument. main issue is . we want to create issues. I mean those people are liable. This is a site for playing chess. What we are doing? we are arguing what we got what we did not get. We are really kids. Grow up GROW UP

Now considering that the Legend league has 500 000 members, considering that it started around one year ago, it therefore means that there are approximately 10 000 parallel "universe" Champion Leagues so that approximately every week 10 000 new Legend member join.

So what you wanna say? those 500 000 members are expert in chess. They have high rating? HUH?

What you get out of those league? Can you beat 2500 rating players? how many can? Did you think about it?

yeah getting to legend is more quantity over quality but its still something to work towards. At the end of the day, its something to motivate you.

I dont think anyone ever said they mattered rating or skill wise. Its something to motivate you and keep you playing everyday, im literally grinding for champion's league right now before i try going to FIDE. I know it doesnt matter but still, enough for a nice, good motivation.

Rumour has it the leagues are being restructured so it will be based on elo which would make way more sense

I haven't heard any indication that leagues are being restructured to use ratings

Leave leagues, rejoin, and play a game to get into a new division. That one will fill up and you'll be able to get trophies.

So there are two options

1) stay in your league and wait (...........................................................)
2) leave leagues and rejoin and start again

The world's best chess player Magnus Carlsen isn't even in the Legends League. Did you ever thought why he isn't in the legends league. Because he cares about improvement, not showboating. He is still the best chess player right now. I see 300 rated players in the Legends League, I can beat them without queen and two rooks but they are still in the legends league and I'm in the elite.
