As a scientist, since Magnus Carlsen has been World Champ and just in November beat the person who beat the rest of the world to challenge him, I'd have to go with Carlsen.
He is also a model.
Would the world simply concede to send The highest ranked GM to decide Earths fate or would playing style be a more important role? Would we instead choose to have one major tournament, winner defends Earth in the most important game ever?
