It’s rubbish. I haven’t bothered to refresh my membership this year, think of it as voting with my wallet.
I just logged into here for the first time to say it is awful and please change it back

My understanding was a change was made so that older apps shouldn't see the issue anymore.
Maybe as a temporary/quick fix to all those who are having an issue with this, there is the “highlight last move” option on mobile which will help a bit in tracking moves in fast games.

On mine, it seems to have righted itself this morning. Maybe the techies have registered how unpopular it was. Advising people how to change the settings probably onky works for other people with the exact same make, model and OS as yourself, so that advice is not much use. Paying customers complaining en masse DOES work though.
1 minute games are bullet, not blitz

The site made a change that was impacting older versions of the app, but my understanding is that newer versions have a change in how animations work for bullet. They had turned something on on the backend that enabled that process for older apps, which has since been reverted.
