I can't find any record of him playing in a FIDE tournament since 2019.
He might have just gone to ground during the pandemic.

Yeaa and also he peaked at world #2 but dropped in performance pretty significantly… i guess that happens to some players, even Jobava

I heard a story about Morozevich that one time during a tournament in Moscow about 15 years ago, he arrived late to the board because he was sleeping late with his girlfriend.
Did Morozevich have a series of bad events & just retire or what happened?
