A lot of players a chasing after points, not realising that it is a waste of time. No benefit, no gain. Don't know why chess.com does not eliminate this pointless system? So kohai, what about it?

yeah well i heard that in 2007-2008 chess.com gave u chess.com tshirts after 1000 points but they stopped doing that...theres over 6.4 million people on chess.com now
After 100,000 points, you get a free plastic chess piece. After the next 100,000 points, another. It goes on like this through all 32 pieces, so after 3,200,000 points, you'll have em all. If you want the vinyl chessboard to go with em, you'll have to acquire another 500,000 points.
nothing special, just a number that shows how active you are.

yeah i am kinda short on undies i mean it would be cool if i had chess.com undies... i hope they come in rainbow colours...but damm they would be seen trough my shorts.... but i mean who cares they are chess.com undies! anybody would be proud to have them!!! :D
