Some breeds of dogs are extremely mellow, and cats usually have a tendency to claw when threatened. Who knows, maybe a player might get really fed up with the fur balls all over their king...
Some pro-dog guy on YouTube legit told me that toxoplasmosis is a disease from cats that makes people want to serve cats. Can't believe retards like that exist. He also said that dogs never attack unprovoked and cats are known to always attack their owners randomly. What an idiot!

On the note of cats on the board, I think it might even be better if the players decide in a vote which animal gets to roam the playing hall. This vote could be taken before the tournament, during the registering period. Pet stores would make millions!
