What is better in Lichess then Chess.com?

I've never done a Lichess puzzle. Maybe I'll check that out, thanks. And, of course, one could always go there just to do puzzles. I don't play there anymore but I'm still a member.
"There is a bigger classical playerbase on lichess and they have several leagues for classical chess. Again, it's useful for improving players"
I forgot about that issue and I agree. Chess.com needs a classical time control. Fortuinately, my understanding is that is now in the works, though it won't happen until next year.
"Study feature is a gem in lichess. I wouldn't be surprised if top players use it to analyse and share their games in private."
I'm far from a top player, but I do prefer chess.com for that, though I do use Lichess sometimes to study openings, even this morning, to look at the London System... which I've been playing for a while without even knowing what it was (ha ha). I had often been seeing, as White, "Queen's Pawn Opening, Zukertort Variation". I had questions that I couldn't find answers to, so I started a thread a couple of days ago. Anyway, I didn't realize "Zukertort" only referred to the first two or three moves, LOL, which shows you just how much I still have to learn about chess.
Getting way off topic, I played a little as a child, almost never as an adult, took it up in mid 2022, played at Lichess for a couple of months, joined chess.com in September, 2022, played at both sites for about a week, and exclusively here ever since... though I quit playing chess entirely for almost a year, taking it up again about 6 weeks ago. I've decided to take it more seriously. We'll see how that works out.

"Cheaters are far less frequent."
This I completely disagree with. I've been involved in a debate about this for around three years and done a lot of research. Actual numbers are impossible, of course, but the consensus is mostly that it's about equal at the two sites, which I don't find at all surprising: there is no reason to think either site is more attractive to cheaters or, worse, if you want to go that route, cheaters are, without question, more likely to get caught and punished if you play at chess.com. In fact, other than its minimalist interface, that is the most common complaint about Lichess.

If you ignore complaints about lag and disconnects, I should have said, which I do since the issue is almost always client-side.

Oh yeah and here on chess.com it keeps saying draw when I know there is no draw. Is that an issue or something? It like draws in the middle of a game on the bullet 1 min match.

So there are less cheaters on chess.com i guess. yeah Chess.com needs a classical time control.
Unfortunately, the best guess seems to be it's about the same since while they're more likely to get caught here, and banned, it takes about 5 minutes to get a new email address and open a new account. The good news is that most people are not such bad sports (creeps might be more like it), and do not cheat. Despite common misconceptions, the best estimate is that less than 1 - 3 games out of 100 involve cheating.

Your opponent asks for a draw you mean?
And crikey, one minute Bullet... arg.
Maybe more exciting (for me more like panic- inducing)?
I never play anything shorter than ten minutes and longer, in my opinion, is even better

oh sorry i meant seeing not saying. like it just draws automaticly for no reason

I like the sound effects on Lichess a little bit more. That said, the default sound effects here are fine, too. But the Lichess sounds are just a tad bit more satisfying. If chess.com could use/license them, I'd love it. Zen beta app. That's really minimalistic but cool in it's own right. Classical time control. Free game analysis. I use both but admittedly, I play on chess.com much more. I have a nice club here. Maybe I haven't looked as hard on Lichess but I think the community seems better here.

I like chess.com better because it has more features and has goals like awards, medals, and etc that make me want to do more and more. And it helps us learn from our mistakes and teaches us new topic.
Chess.com is like a learning environment while lichess.org is mostly just a playing environment. lichess is good to be used to teach but it does not teach.
and chess.com has so much to explore like puzzles, awards, games with people and bots and much more. i just can explain it!
I even came here to the forums just to earn a reward.

I think you hit the nail right on its head, I'm still noob so I'm enjoying my paid sub trying to learn stuff. I think psychologically I'm more motivated to grind puzzles here because I paid for them as well, 😆
Here . I've played on it regularly since the past year. Skipping the obvious of free everything,
There is a bigger variety of puzzles and you can filter by themes to improve on your weaknesses. Personally, I think that chesstempo offers far better puzzles than chess.com or lichess.
Tournaments are far more organized, have more parameters for creation compared to chess.com
There is a bigger classical playerbase on lichess and they have several leagues for classical chess. Again, it's useful for improving players
Study feature is a gem in lichess. I wouldn't be surprised if top players use it to analyse and share their games in private. Must use for anyone trying to improve.
Cheaters are far less frequent. However in longer time controls at my level, the frequency is same. I also suspect a decent chunk of my opponents cheating indirectly on both sites.
Lichess players often let the clock run down in losing positions compared to chess.com players. Lichess doesn't crack down on these incidents as much compared to chess.com
Lichess mods are less responsive and take less action and are more political since they don't face much repercussions compared to chess.com mods. This won't affect the average player much tho.
Lichess GUI might feel more clunky to newer players. Hence chess.com is more beginner friendly
