1800 maybe
What is considered a good rating for certain ages like 15 years old?

Now my blitz rating which most everybody plays I am in the top 16% in the world which I think is pretty good considering I'm only 15 years old and since it only includes active players in the last 90 days. I just want some other people to tell me that that is real good and I'm not just the only one that thinks that. I want to say that's real good but if I'm the only one that thinks that then obviously I'm not that good. XD
Just pls tell me if that's good or not and what rating would be real good for a 15 year old and don't give me a terrible answer like if you don't have a rating of 2000 by 12 years old then you prob won't reach grandmaster cause that's just plain crazy. Also tell me if grandmaster rating by 30 is a realistic goal for me or if it's doubtful.
Yes, 1500 is good for your age if your goal is to beat your friends.
If you want to be a Grandmaster, it is not good. There are thousands of kids your age and younger with ratings 500 to 1000 points above yours.
It seems safe to predict you will never be a Grandmaster. However, there is no reason you couldn't improve a lot in the next ten years if you study hard every day for years.
How many hours a day do you spend on chess?

I think you are doing awesome. Please keep an open mind when I ask questions though. I work with lots of kids. I'm a sport coach for exactly your age. I'm also helping a chess player who is exactly your age. First what is your USCF rating? If you don't have one and have never played in USCF or FIDE OTB tournaments then it is impossible for us to predict your top end. Second, why do you need us to tell you that you are doing well? I realize this is very difficult for teenagers to grasp but self confidence and happiness come from within. I'm constantly telling my athletes that I AM proud of them. And their parents are proud of them. But you should never seek out approval from me or your parents. It won't make you happy in the long run. Finally, I think having goals is great. Wanting to be a GM someday ...sure ... why not? But why not set goals that are more short term attainable? Achieve a USCF rating of 1600 before you turn 16? or learn certain endings flawlessly? You will feel good when you hit the small targets. Trust me. And don't let people say you can't do something. Set a realistic short term goal. Work at it. Achieve.
Now if two 12-15 year olds are better than me at OTB (I play better OTB, players at the club estimate I'm between 14-1500) in a small city in a country that has never produced a grandmaster (or any sort of master, I don't think) and these players aren't even the best in the small city, let alone the country, then I don't think you have much of a chance, I'm sorry.
But then again, that's like a footballer- even though you can be amazing, only 5 thousand or so players play to a high enough standard to be professional- I'm sorry but I doubt you could get into the top 2500 chess players in the world or so who are GM's.
2000 at 12... Isn't that far off. I'd say a bare minimum of 1600 at 12 is neccisary. Bare minimum. I'm sure some cases prove me wrong, but I don't see much hope for you becoming a GM- sorry mate.

Well the thing is that I only started playing chess at 12 and I'm a fast learner. I gain like another hundred points each year which is why I think I can make grandmaster by 30. If I keep up with the same rate which I know I won't but if I keep going at a good rate like I have been then I should get grandmaster eventually. I certainly want it bad enough I spend about 3 hours a day on chess and I plan to pay for a lot of lessons in a few months.

hey, i started chess then gained 1700 points in a year. if i keep that up for another year, i can beat stockfish. hmmmm

I don't have a USCF rating yet. I literally found out about that a few days ago. I do plan to start on that but I need money first. Is USCF more difficult to gain rating on then Chess.com?

I think that saying that there are lots of kids my age and younger that beat 1500 by like 500-1000 points is a crazy exhageration because 1500 + 1000 = 2500 is GRANDMASTER RATING and anybody 2000 at least on Chess.com are almost all adults.

I think that I have a better chance at grandmaster then you're saying cause what you guys are saying seems a bit unrealistic itself. I'm not saying you're all liers I just have no proof that that's actually true. Any child with a 2500 rating is very famous and very rare so no not many kids beat me. You do realize mostly adults play on Chess.com and I beat 74% of them. Sure even adults don't play that much but my brain is still developing and I've only played for like 3 years and for the first year I only played on physical game boards every once in a while.

OTB tournaments can be full of tension

Life is a choice.
If you can work hard enough to be world top 2000, there are a lot of good things.( GM are world best top 2000 players ).
Instead of choosing chess , if you choose either
1. Businessman
2. Singer
3. Lawyer
4. Soccer player
And be top 2000, you will be millionarie easily.
Most people dont choose this board game choose better job.
Getting 70% is not impressive. If you play Sukodo or other 1000 board games seriously for 3 -6 months., you can be 70% of the players.

1500 blitz is ok for a player after 3 years of chess regardless of age. (I know teenager that was Gm at 16, but he had competet 1000 otb rated games during ca 10 years)15 is young enough to learn fast, so Gm is possible , but it is a very large job to climb that high.

Gaining 100 rating points per year and to continue doing this is not a realistic goal. The higher rating you achieve--the harder it is to gain rating points.
When I was your age I was paid for teaching chess and the highest rating I ever achieved
was 2550 which was not enough to earn a living. To ever be a grandmaster you would
need to have a much higher rating by this point.
Just enjoy your chess and set more realistic goals.
