What is happening somebody please explain

Ok guys, everything has been going fine until the last two bullet games I played which I bots lost on time. I strongly suspect both of cheating though I am not fully sure, as when I played a move, two second deacreased from my clock and when they moved two seconds got added to the clock. There was no increment though. Can somebody explain what was happening?

You're describing lag, lag compensation, and/or small disconnects.
