what is happening to my score??

Hi I was just wondering the same. Maybe a bug? Score goes up and down like crazy, but I still have the same score as a couple of days/games before ... I noticed this for 10 mins Blitz btw

Yeah I see the same here. Like it jumped an extra 150 points or so and on a day where I barely played, but only for bullet time format
Does anyone have an answer to the score jump? One game -42 points. I have not made any changes. Does Chess.com even look at the comment board. How do we get this corrected. How do we call them for answers?
It's probably because you normally play 10 minute games which Chess.com has just changed from Blitz to Rapid. If you don't normally play Rapid then the Glicko rating deviation will be higher. It will lower as you play more games in Rapid.

TBH I don't understand completely how this works. My rating is now 100 points higher (1286) than before. Doing some investigation I looked at my opponents and in almost all cases their rapid rating was actually under 1000. Are the scores being artificially inflated compared to before? If I had played them as rapid games I might not have played them or only being given a plus 7. I understand from what others are saying this should even itself out but I am curious.
yep - me too. Definitely a bug. But no idea how to fix it... I've had >100pt results from single Blitz games, although my stats don't seem to change at all
Okay. I’m glad I’m not the only one. My score went up about 130 points without playing. Now I’m at around 1780 for bullet.
Also, I’m playing people who are around the same ranking and even 1800+ but they aren’t playing to that level.
To be honest, they’re probably saying the same thing about me.

It’s kind of frustrating though.
We worked really hard to increase our scores and now with this bizarre inflation it’s hard not to wonder what our true ranking is.

They added 150 to every bullet rating as Chess.com said they were undervalued compared to Blitz and Rapid. Didn't everyone get a message about this?

They changed it. So instead of playing 10 mins in blitz, it in now 10 mins in rapid. It is a form of gaslighting. But they'll never admit that. They'll just tell you, it is better, this way. Have a nice day. While we, in the back room, decide where, we'll move the chairs around next. Everything these days is in lock step, to keep you from being mentally settled.
ok, #losingmyedge i got the explanation.
Now, the score I had on 10min games, is the score on the 5 min games.
The "new" 10 min games have a totally new score which is going to fluctuate during some games until stabilazing in your most accurate rate...

yup. Also, I believe your rapid rating should jump to your blitz rating.

quick question: Usually, when I start a game, it is showed the score variation in case of win/draw/lose, for instance, +9/0/-11.
All figures used to go between +-7 and +-12.
But two days ago, I do not understand why, these variations are much higer,,e.g.: +32/1/-29 so my score is going up and down like a roller coaster. Does anyone know why this increase in every game's score?
