Online chess is also called daily or correspondence chess, the measurement is days per move. Live chess is measured in seconds or minutes per move and it is divided into different categories depending on the approximate duration of the entire match. Live chess is divided in bullet, blitz and standard (rapid).

Yea but what about crazy house I played a game of blitz trought clubs and it didn't cont it and I didn't get the achievements cuz it wasn't live then I played blitz through an other method and it counted it but I can't get the 10 game of crazy house now cuz I don't know the difference between livechess and not livechess any help?

This is an old topic. Play is the only live chess (that isn't the variants server).
I mostly use the online chess feature, so could someone explain what live chess is exactly? And what is the difference between live chess and online chess.
