The maximum number of promotions is 16: all pawns can promote.
White captures 2 black knights and 2 black bishops: axb, cxd, exf, gxh.
Black captures 2 white knights and 2 white bishops: bxa, dxc, fxe, hxg.
Now the white pawns can march to promote on b8, d8, f8, h8,
and the black pawns can march to promote on a1, c1, e1, g1.
So there can be 9 white queens and 9 black queens on the board.
The remaining 4 rooks can help to shield their kings from check.
What is rhe maximun number of converted pawns on a fide game?

That's a theoretical number but what's was the maximum achieved in practice?
I read that maximum number of queens sharing a board is 5, but this number number could be greater if we remove the requisite that they have to be at the time on the board.
