What is the avg. IQ of players on chess.com

I bet chatGPT's IQ would be over 1000! look at this ad I got lol! who would get premium to remove ads when they answer your IQ questions!

135 for me. If anyone would like proof of my test scores, I will gladly send them.
Just post it here. Everyone else does.
I took an online test a couple of years ago that someone promoted on Facebook. I got every question wrong on purpose to see how low it would go. IQ=65. Then, I took it again, but answering questions correctly. 135.
Hard to take such things seriously.

The average will be about 110 more than likely.
Based on nothing more than assumptions that have been shown to be groundless. Chess neither makes you smarter, nor is played by those who are particularly smart. Rather, like Mensa, it attracts people who think they are smart (and sometimes like puzzles).
Defining intelligence is the real puzzle. So far, no one has succeeded.

Most people on chess.com are child beginners... there's no way the average would be 110.
The average of people above 1600 is probably slightly over 100... I doubt as high as one SD.

Average IQ of Chess player on this site? I think so can answer that. The average IQ is 100, for the world. It varies with each country, with the eighties being the average for some African countries and the early 100s being average for some European countries. We have a very wide, diverse crowd on Chess.com, so we can likely assume we have a chess player from every country in the world, wether or not they live there- ancestry of descent too. As North Korea has banned Chess.com, all people with that flag are either liars or people with that ancestry. Here in the United States, the Avery’s eIQ for teens is about 93. It keeps going up, with the average for senior citizens bro g about 110. You do gain wisdom and knowledge over the years, but it doesn’t necessarily impact your IQ. The education and society of the mid-1900s was much more habitual for “creating” - for lack of a better term- a person who was brilliant and had a great IQ. First, though, IQ measurements go like this- 80 and below- intellectual disability. 80-100 - average. 115- above average. 125- Gifted. 130- Superior IQ ( genius and this is the cutoff for MENSA) and it goes like that. Anything 130 means you’ve got a decent brain in your head. Also, when calculating IQ, if you take one of those @$&@ IQ tests, it’s a scam. One would must take a MENSA certified test or take one at a physiological center. So, the average IQ- 105. I give it five more points as people who play chess tend to be a bit smarter, as they spend their time playing a brain sport instead of a video game. And important word there- tend. So yes, I think the average IQ of Chess. Com is 205.
105

Nope. Guess again.

And where does it say 110?
It doesn’t because you were wrong on that point.
As for the African nations you mentioned, you should know that IQ testing is the exception and such scores are based on very little data (sorta like the estimates for chess players). Go to the source and learn something. I did.
