I am fairly new to chess. What openings should a beginner learn?
Lapre506

Queens Gambit but I also love the Accelerated London

I recommend the Italian game. It is simple and easy enough to understand.

The Italian is the most beginner friendly opening there is.
It has intuitive moves and it’s not very complex.

I see others suggesting Queen’s gambit, but gambits lose a pawn in exchange for a positional advantage.

Gambits are not for beginners.

But the Halloween gambit is easy...
