And the wcm can only solve 22 puzzles in 5 minutes? Only 18 puzzles in 3 minutes? NO WAY!?

SmartField

Oh wait, I get it! She might not be a wcm, but she somehow submitted her identification without permission! So she has the wcm title but she’s not even a wcm

but chess.com has to verify first

I think every woman title is -200 compared to open title (so WCM should be 2 000), but sometimes there are special circumstances which allow you to get a title even if you do not have the required Elo. Winning some junior tournament or something like that. I do not know the details, I am afraid, so I am not sure.

It is kind of weird, because all her ratings are 1200! https://ratings.fide.com/profile/14320363

I know, I've checked her fide profile myself. I've seen it before by the way, there are more people below the requirements, and I believe they get the title under special circumstances like winning some tournament, or something like that. But I am not sure about the details.

Click here you will see her rating if you click it

And Charlotte Millard is only 14 years old

Shaxxladin

I don't think she submitted her identification to chess.com because even under fide she's a wcm. Also I know that you can instantly become a gm for qualifying high in a tournament, but even then, you have to be rated 2300, so im really confused on how she became one

SmartField

Yes excatly

but such low rating, in tournaments, she most likely is also playing low rateds, and even if she won against higher opponents, that means her rating wouldn't be 1200.

SmartField

Yep

nexim

I got curious as well and I guess she received the title from African Youth Chess Championship U10 girls section in 2016.

SmartField

Me too

HDiChess1

HDiChess1

We can compare

SmartField

Yes let’s try

SmartField

But I’m in class now so I need to do it later
