So does that mean that an atheist wouldn't believe in cemetaries ?
What is the Meaning of Death ?

So does that mean that an atheist wouldn't believe in cemetaries ?
A cemetary is a cemetary. You could also ask whether someone believes in the local butchery. Not of relevance.
There were good reasons why the mankind buries humans after their life. Prehistoric man had to struggle with animals hungry for rotten carcass. More and more religious behavior came into play.

ive always felt that they can put me in a bin bag and squash me in a landfill , what use other than fertiliser is my body when im dead ,,,, oh yes it provides the undertaker a lucrative trade , burials are far from cheap , many times families sruggle to honour a passed on loved one
im happy to tell my family save the cash spend it on something fun

....I believe in funereals & cemetaries (the spookier the better ) & ceremonies & all that stuff, but if u threw me out in the water & let the crabs eat me ?....well, I guess I'd be okay w/ that too....I guess (blink blink).

Ah, ok. Understand. Always good for someone to believe in something. Good you've found it for you

I might have myself frozen.
Then advances in Cryonics could bring me back & I could go & skrooup my life all over agian........

There are a few who can look death and welcome it, knowing that there is a better place after death. Anne Bronte is one of the bravest person and my hero.
Anne Bronte tell Charlotte her departing words," Ere long the restlessness of approaching death appeared, and she was borne to the sofa; on being asked if she were easier, she looked gratefully at her questioner, and said, ‘It is not YOU who can give me ease, but soon all will be well, through the merits of our Redeemer.’ Shortly after this, seeing that her sister could hardly restrain her grief, she said, ‘Take courage, Charlotte; take courage.’ Her faith never failed, and her eye never dimmed till about two o’clock, when she calmly and without a sigh passed from the temporal to the eternal. So still, and so hallowed were her last hours and moments. There was no thought of assistance or of dread. The doctor came and went two or three times. The hostess knew that death was near, yet so little was the house disturbed by the presence of the dying, and the sorrow of those so nearly bereaved, that dinner was announced as ready, through the half-opened door, as the living sister was closing the eyes of the dead one.

Cryonics: Their core business is the play with hope "underpinned" with science and technology. No reason to join them.

there is no beginning without death, so death means beginning. so i apologise to my next fish in advance, it's death is the beginning of its journey through my digestive system.

it's to hide the fact that i also ate somebodys bird, Lola. i think it's name was "peaty", so the p and y were both turned to make a d and h.

It means that you have had your turn at life---did well or mucked it up or inbetween and now someone else gets their turn. Probably you will regret working too much and not having enough sex---if you have treated others well and your animals well, you can die with a clear conscience and at peace with God.
If I get reincarnated I will learn to play a musical instrument in a second try.
There is no meaning, just a natural part to clear up things in order to make place for successors.
Without the end there would be no evolution of species and in the end no species at all.
The never ending iteration of new life and decay is a must to keep life alive. Sounds weird, but that is the core of life.
Intercepting this by science and a way longer life the mankind will get bigger problems handling this than following the natural path for billions of years
