I think it is
1: Pawn
2: Knight
3: Rook
4: Bishop
5: Queen
6: King
I personally think that open and semi-open positions happen more often...
You personally think that? Interesting. Surprised you didn't use the word "literally" in that sentence as well.
What do you mean by pieces? Minor and major, or just every piece on the board? I think the knight is moved more than the bishop, but the pawn ♟ is moved most of all.
The answer to the question depends on the strengths of the players.
Does it though? Does it? At what strength, would the answer not be Pawn?

Beginners. People under a certain rating. Of course some people will have a hard and fast rule about what that means. But that too depends on what you consider "strength".
Would be interesting... if you sampled say ALL the Candidate games from 2018 (56 total I think) and added up all the different piece moves, which one was moved the most. That way it's a mix short and long games.
I have no idea.... could be anything, other than the Queen which aren't usually around in end-games. Anyone have some time on their hands?

So, the same person that's been going on about how Pawns being moved the most is dependant on the games in question not being too long on average, is now saying the opposite?
Beginner games are fast. They get checkmated. They get checkmated a lot. They checkmated fast. A lot of their games end very fast. I have no doubt whatsoever, that the average length of a beginner game will be far shorter than the average length of a master game.
So now, as well as saying that long games skew against Pawns, you're saying that short games skew against Pawns too. I think that you still believe the answer to this question to be Rook. You probably won't come out and directly say as much, because you think you'll get laughed out of the thread as it's been proven that you're wrong, but your true beliefs sneak through in contradictions like this one.
Is there any game type in which you believe the Pawn moves the most? You know, that piece that almost everybody said was the obvious answer, even before it was shown to be the clear winner with ~50% more moves than it's closest rival. Not long games, no. You've ranted about that for what feels like forever. Not short games, no. Beginner games, which average very few moves, don't favour them either apparently. Maybe you believe that specifically middle length games played by masters, contain so many Pawn moves? Say, three times as many Pawn moves as nearest rival moves? I mean, you have to counteract all these other situations in which the Pawn doesn't move the most somehow...
Its really tough to say because it varies depend upon the game, like if its an closed position peices move a lot in an open position pawns move a lot...
The problem is this: no matter how much you shift the parameters here, pawns will still win.
Just your games, they will win. Just my games, they will win. My grandmaster games, they will win. Just kids games, they will win. Just bullet games, they will win. Just classic OTB, they will win. Just games played in the 1800s, they will win. Just games played in the 2000s they will win. Just <20 move games, they will win. Just >50 move games, they will win.
All you can change is how much they win by, which just isn't the question. That actually would have been a better question, IMO. In what type of games, would Pawns win this question by the least and in what type would they win by the most? That's a question that people could actually debate.

Yes. Although it doesn't just depend on position. It also depends on the player, length of game, and strength of player. A better question would be what piece gets moved the most in these different categories.

Yeah, I agree

That would be interesting. But games that end early, with a resignation because someone is a pawn down, are going to be different than a game that goes to 75 moves. Games that end with those early resignations are going to have mostly pawn moves, because there is so much more opportunity for them to be moved. Long games, where many or most pawns are gone, are going to have other pieces that get moved more. So it is hard to say. It just depends.
