crafty 17.10 I have no idea... maybe 2100?
what is the possible rating for Crafty 17.10?

Probably closer to 2500. It seems to be doing a bit better than Dragon 4.6 (2419 elo in 40/4 TC) and Nejmet 3.07 (2425 elo). Crafty may play a bit weaker if you didn't set up a Crafty configuration file (crafty.rc).

hmm thanks... I think my crafty play too weak for 2500...
I this game I lost my concentration after black Rc8 move... but I knew I was better and stockfish give about +1 for white. I think my initiative on queenside wase eaiser it would be.. If crafty was 2500 I would not surviver on kingside...(f3 was my main error...)
funny is white had Ra8+ still with advantage (about 0.6!) my last two moves was just joking.. when playing against engines If I think I'm lost I resign.. engine dont lost decisive advantage like humans...)
The main point is crafty 17.10 I feel I can beat and it play pretty normal, no silly moves and have good strategy sense... For me, the best engine I have played with I feel like I can win and try my own ideas with no total and devastating refutations...
I recommend crafity 17.10 for players 1800 ~ 2200 ...

If you're playing Crafty on a mobile unit, it will play at a much weaker level. You can run a benchmark on the engine in console mode. Double-click on the engine executable (i.e., Crafty1710.exe) to bring up the console window. When you get the "White(1):" prompt, type the word "bench" (without the quotes) to start the benchmark test. On my old desktop, the benchmark test took a total elapsed time of 18 seconds, and the "SMP time-to-ply measurement" was 35.555556. (The higher this number is, the better.)
