Lol why do people get shocked, my rapid rating is 1650 , so being unrated is no big deal also after Covid no tourney held thats why, see my rapid rating on 19 October 2020 (yes 1year ago), I was 993 rapid and thats why I am unrated.

I think they award the title to certain "teachers" or famous people. I find no problem with it, since it doesn't really mean anything in regards to your playing strength
Still isn't having a set of criteria bring consistency........like famous as in how much? Overnight Celebrity?Teachers? Chess teachers only or the other that play casually too? How much experienced teacher?

Firstly he isn't a "teacher " by any means. Maybe he could teach newbies how to move the pieces. Plus I dont think being famous should entitle you to any title. I know it doesnt matter much....but when others who are better than you...who are doing a lot for chess see it ....they would be demotivated and it would be an injustice to them.

uhh rishabh there is NO way u can adopt samay, also why do u care if he gets some random title? if u r jealous bcoz of this just do what samay did to get the title-get 500k subs, lose against 100 rated players, bring a few WCs on stream etc, i am sure u can do that xD
