My New Year Resolutions for 2016 are: To reach 1700 rating on chess.com standard, read at least one chess book in 2 months, Win as many local tournaments as possible, practice tactics for 15 minutes daily.

1) To change the ratings bounds in live chess blitz to between +100 and +300, and therefore only play people quite a bit stronger than me in blitz, which will really improve my strength (I hope!)

2) To play way more standard 15|10 - or longer- and to analyse them after!

Play in my first OTB, USCF rated tournament.  Not expecting much at all results wise, just want to experience the tournament environment, even if it means playing opponents not much older than my granddaughter.
