What Is Your Chess Play Style? Post it Here.

I heard that you were sanctioned for playing while all catnipped out.
Would you care to comment on these rumors?

I set up a solid position, make a huge mistake, spend the rest of the game defending and asking myself why I play this horrible game.
I don't really know what my play style is yet, but I aim to be more of an attacking, tactical player rather than a solid, positional player, though both are cool.
Based on what other people tell me, you shouldn't aim to have a specific play style. You should let it develop naturally.
Okay, I'll listen to that advice. Thank you!

I feel like it depends on which color I get. Contrary to being defensive, I would try to play a bit more aggressive when I get black while the opposite for white. :3c

It's the opposite for me haha. Do you play the KID, since the positions produced from the KID provide great attacking opportunities

I usually go with the English opening for white where I usually try to dominate as much white squares as possible and rely on positional plays. As for black, I really don't have a go-to opening, so I just go with the King's pawn opening. :3

That’s awesome, I wish there was a like button.
I have recently over hauled my game from e4 to c4 and can totally relate.

You are awesome!
My best times was learning the Botvinnik or Reversed Dragon and lining up the Bishop and Rook on that B7 pawn haha.
Cool cool. Best of luck!

And yet you managed to get up to 1600 so can't be all that bad lol
Oh that’s just the rating they gave me for my new account. I haven’t played any games on this account. I am learning a full set of new openings, so I expect my rating to drop for a while as I learn.
