If the pawns count as one whole piece together then I would definitely choose the pawn, due to the defense. you couldn’t really play the game without the pawns, and if you play them right you can get pretty easy checkmates with them. People always underestimate them but you can sneak a couple of punches in with pawns

Queen is my favourite, because it combines power with being an aesthetically pleasing piece.
Bishops I find dull and often look bad.

plus, it can be queened to win
