What is your favorite chess player?
I'd say Yasser Seirawan. Mainly because his books were the first to make sense to me. They explained the game in a clear way that I hadn't been able to find prior to 1992.

Good answer.
Yasser was always my favorite annotator. Although a little weak on opening theory at times, he had a way of explaining complicated ideas, so that they seemed simple. "Fisher-Price English" so-to-speak.
And he didn't get too bogged down in complicated variations, but still helped the reader understand what was going on in the position. What both players were hoping to achieve.

yasser lectures in such a way that makes chess appear too easy. i have always wondered about his thought process in really hairy tactical positions.
My favourite chess player is my 9 years old nephew. He is not very strong, but I enjoy playing with him.
"What" is my favorite chess player? Hmmm... human.
