Your name was not Laura some minutes ago...
What is your favorite outfit to wear?

LOL, I KNEW IT, BLUE JARS WAS PDELA!
Welcome back chum.
i don't know who PDELA is.
I just saw that on your profile and i wrote that to build rapport with my audience.
who is pdela?
Super fluffy pants and a shirt that says,"A day without chess probably wouldn't kill me- but why risk it?"

formal style, mostly in black like here http://inkprofy.com/all-black-outfits-for-men-and-women/

This is not 'General Chess Discussion' -- this belongs in the 'General Clothing Discussion' forum.
(and, memogaf -- where and how and why the hell did you dig this gem of a post up??)

What is the best outfit to wear when playing chess socially and also when playing in a tournament?
I don't get how the professionals like wearing those uncomfortable business suits. are they pretending to be CEOs?
I think sweatpants and a t-shirt are more comfortable to wear.
It may be more comfortable but people judge your way of dressing. They will take more seriously someone dressed like a CEO than someone dressed like a 15 year old.
People treat you the way you look unless you are some kind of genius, then you can dress however you want and everybody will still respect you.
But if you will wear a suit it is extremely important that it is tailor suited.
If it is a high quality suit and it is tailor costumed for you, then you will look like a boss.
If not, you will look like a bum.

Why not?

Why not?
BECAUSE I'M GRUMPY AND OFFENDED BY IT!
(All of this 'being easily offended' stuff going around the forums lately must be contagious.)
Seriously, though -- Why not? Mostly because i have yet to tire of that great Obama meme i've been using in circumstances such as this.
...and because i truly don't believe that this topic belongs in this forum -- 'Off-Topic' seems like a much more fitting choice.
...and because i find this topic absolutely mind-numbing.
