So I'm on chess.com, minding my own business, when a random dude challenges me to blitz games. Now I hover around 1350 rating on here , and this dude was rated 600. I was pretty tired, but I figured I could beat this guy easily, even while sniffing an ether rag between moves.
Boy was I wrong! This guy had strong opening knowledge and was firing out decent moves in 2 seconds flat. By the time we were done he was 7-0 and I was pretty frustrated. I was worried I had some sort of brain tumor and all my skill had disappeared. To add insult to injury he gloated about his victories on my profile page, and now I am forever disgraced. Fortunately my CAT scan came back negative (that's good, right?).
What has become of the sport of kings!?
