If they are not well known give a description of that style.

I'll be the token Morphy guy. Positional player and tactical genius who dominated open games.. lets go who else

MIKHAIL TAL!

Sacrifices, complicated positions, tactical melees and a desire for the initiative.

Only my favorite player ever.

Petrosian...slow and boring as it is often called.

What? Clever, subtle, and very exciting, to meSmile

Nezhmetdinov

He plays aggressively and has a tactical vision like none other.

p.s. tal, Nezhemetdinov, Spassky and Kasparov, but even the dryest of positional players have beautiful combinations under their belt.

Odie_Spud

Samuel Reshevsky

I tried to play like Tahl & Nezhmetdinov once but soon realized I was just throwing away pieces and had to stop.

Yeah, KC's video is where I first saw that game. Nez's style is amazing

aj415

who else?? how about some more of these russian guys

Havana_Knights

Capablanca. His classical, direct style of play I find to be most effective. Since I have adopted his methods, my ratings have significantly improved.

justjoshin

love looking at Alekhine's games.

Garry Kasparov ;) - He just really could not be beaten by other humans (in his time, ofc) lol, and I suppose that deserves my top "style".

Capablanca's style is an extremely close second though, completely natural player who's moves seemed too simple to be true!

aj415

I dont get when people say that. As good as Kasparov was he was beaten many a time just like all the best players in the history of chess
