Among the titles that get a free membership here are CM (candidate master) from FIDE and NM (national master) from your national federation.
Since they are recognizing titles from two different organizations, and reflect participation in different tournament events, open to different groups of players, it is possible for a national master to be a stronger player than a FIDE candidate master.
