The best defense is a good offense
What saying or theme best describes your chess playing?

Max (playing chess): Don't tell me I just lost my queen.
99: Max, you just lost your queen.
Max: 99, I asked you not to tell me that!

Well there goes my queen again *sighs*. He missed it!!! WOOHOO . No he didn't, mate in 1 *slaps hand to forehead*.

Good one, excelguru.
Here's mine: "If you can't learn to do something well, at least learn to enjoy doing it badly!"
Paul Bahn writing about archeology, but it describes my chess.

My common theme is realizing that the move I thought I had really thought about was really not so good. This happens an instant after I click submit.

ATTACK! If you're losing ATTACK! If your opponent if steam-rolling you and about to win STILL ATTACK! Defence is for keeping your cool. If you want your win and bragging rights ATTACK!
It's a bit long for a proverb.

"Stupid is as stupid does."
Hahaha, I've got a lot to learn. Oh how Silman would rant about a failed move I made if were in his book. :)

Great flow chart, heh. I am a positional player. I like to use a lot of different strategies and tactics, and often bad ones, ugh! :-)
"I love the smell of napham in the morning. It smells like burning vinyl chess boards."
