ChessOath

I think what you meant is that 15|10 is rapid.

dfgh123

no that is not what i meant

ChessOath

Then what you said and what you meant are wrong. Congratulations.

dfgh123

15 plus 10 second increment

Right...

dfgh123

15 minutes then 10 second extra per move

ChessOath

Who do you think you're talking to right now? Are you just saying random things?

dfgh123

i'm not talking to anyone but i was typing to you because you typed in "what" like you didn't understand in post 9 but you edited it

SofiaCherry1

I can edit it back if you want. All I did was find a different way of saying the same thing.

dfgh123

so did i

Rapid is anything from 15 to 59 minutes, but is normally played around 20-30, at time controls like 15/10, 25/10, and 30/0.

KS-Y

Rapid is 10 minute with no increment to 50 minute with no increment, with increment ( 5second ) will be 8 minutes with increment to 45 with increment. Increment can also be called delay.

chesster3145

That would be Lichess. I find the 8+ minutes = classical thing to be idiotic, as they don't even name it "Standard" to distinguish it from real classical chess. You could make an argument that anything above 8 minutes isn't really blitz, but calling it "Classical" is just wrong.

Delay and increment are two different things

Seriously, WTF are you talking about? You found a different way of saying something too? What could you possibly be referring to? Surely you're not talking about 15+10 vs 15|10? That's completely crazy. Who the **** cares? Why are you bringning that up? That's all I can think of. I think maybe you've lost your mind.
