Your rating can come back from the dead. Just like this thread.

I recommend you take a break, go outside or see friends to distract you.

I once lost 6 rapid games in a row because I was playing too quickly, I basically just wanted a quick win.

for me I would research different strategies and then after researching I would play your level bots until they are mastered.

You should just take a break. Then keep playing.

I'm in a 4 lose streak and it's bad since I was actually winning but just made all the wrong moves after, what to do so I can get my confidence back?

Keep swinging through the slump. Think about what you are doing wrong. Repair it and swing again.

Alternately, go fishing or hike in the woods.

Just relax! Chess is a game.

what i like to do is take a long walk, then when I come back I play some unrated games to "warm up" without worrying about losing elo. then once I am ready I play rated rapid

Experiencing a bad losing streak can be a frustrating and demoralizing experience, especially if you have invested a lot of time and effort into a particular activity or game. However, there are several steps you can take to help you recover and get back on track

You're fatigued. Take a break and do something else for a while. I've been struggling with the same thing.

Whenever you lose a game, stop playing and analyse it first. That prevents mental tilt. It also channels the negative emotions of the loss towards a positive goal: improving.

Pretty sensible, and a good way to make a necessary pause.

I just got out of a really bad losing streak a few days ago. My advice is set a goal for yourself, either to get back to your old rating or to get to a higher rating, when you play, remember to look at every possibility, try to look at your opponent's moves before you make your own, and NEVER resign. There's always hope for a comeback.

I also try and implement a new rule for myself: Don't play unless you have slept enough, eaten a high fat/high protein meal (not carbohydrates, I can't think after eating stodge) , exercised, drunk enough water and had some caffeine.

Otherwise, I just get the blunders, and I get progressively more and more annoyed with myself.

No one needs to be around me when I'm in a bad mood because I'm tilted.
