What to do after I develop all my pieces?

every time I finish develop all my pieces I’m kinda stuck, cuz if I move any of my pieces my other pieces will not be protected, and even if I move it I can’t find a place to put that can threat the opponent’s king, because the other pieces are protecting it, and it’s kinda hard to kill other pieces too, so every time I just play a bad move and become passive, so how can I find ways to threat pieces? They can see what I’m threating so they will protect too…. Then Or is it normal that most game will end late and need to exchange all pieces?

i usually create a small threat first pawn to pieces then tactics threat from threatening to gain a pawn to pins n fork or if my opponent does well protecting i either usually go for trading pieces or controlling my square and regrouping my pieces to more square

and maybe even threatening double pawn too

For me: usually lose.

But there's probably better suggestions

Mostly I just seem end up moving stuff around and waiting for them to make a mistake.
