If you could win a tnmt here by drawing your last 2 games even if you lost some rating pts in each game (say 10-15 per game) what would you do? Would you offer draws in positions you could probably draw anyway (at least) to clinch 1st-place or would you go for the gusto (and extra rating pts in additon to 1st-place)? Since there's no "prize" involved I suppose I should go for the gusto, but on the other hand clinching first place (assuming my opponents go along with the program) doesn't seem like such a bad idea - or is it?
