i think most of us are just book and online players.no one really gave us any advice.we just play online and take a look at some books.
at least i was given advices very rarely.
think in terms of squares
The best advice i got was how to fight Parham/2. Qf3 in order to avoid getting Scholar's mate.
if its a one minute game dont care about anything, just move peices around randomly.
