closer to your blitz rating...play otb and find out☺

Dodger111

Your online rating is 735 I'd guess your USCF rating would be about 500 or less.

What are you talking about I am 1100 rapid?
BeepBeepImA747
Well thanks everyone. The reason my daily chess is so low is I was forced to time out quite a few games recently and I don't take daily to seriously.

based on this, your USCF rating would be around 700

Is it because I misspelled too? Or the run on sentences...

I base my estimation on your lack of commitment, dedication, and overall lack of desire to improve.

Roasted! He asked a question and deserves an honest answer.

Of course I want to improve. I have been doing tactics every day and have bought two books and finished one.

You don't know me. How can you gauge my level of dedication from a post?

I know enough to know that my assessment is correct.  I wish you luck though.

The only way to tell what your USCF rating would be is to play USCF rated games. That said, others can look at your historical games and try to make some kind of prediction but the margin of error is likely +/- 300 and depends on a number of factors.

You are a clever man. Few people recognize the significance of not making excuses and having self discipline/ dedication.

Thanks, but i dont consider common sense as being clever, but then again...in todays world of entitlement, and hurt feelings, im sure my reply was considered "offensive", and not "all inclusive"

I was raised to believe you hold yourself accountable, be responsible for your actions, and be honest.

Listen, why would I spend my own money if I wasn't dedicated and willing to improve?

Daily and rapid are usually overrated. 700 is not a bad guess.

Here's a chess.com member who talks about their first tournament

I'm not offended either. Being a baby boomer does not make you a perfect human being as well.

But I'm sure it's disappointing to hear low numbers. Online ratings can give people a false sense for where they are. Like in that article I linked for you, the person took an online test that said they should be rated 1700 or something, and their chess.com rapid was 1400-1500.

And their first tournament rating? Under 500.
