The Hearns/Hagler fight was the most action packed fight I have ever seen .

Yeah, it was quite a fierce tear-up.....unlike the Hagler/Leonard "fight" ( which some people reckon Hagler won )

It's a shame it was over so quickly.

What round did it finish ?

eciruam

....Just watched the Hagler/ Hearns fight again....Tommy looked real worried after two rounds....Sugar Ray was wise not to mix it.

I've no clue who Kramnik was unpopular with. Just about every chess professional sided with Kramnik over Topalov. When Anand played Topalov, almost every elite player, including Kramnik, helped Anand to prepare.

I never heard Kramnik was unpopular, except perhaps among certain Bulgarians.

One measure of Topalov's popularity, or lack thereof: I put aside my personal feelings and voted highly a brilliant game of his, against Anand no less. This vote cost me in the final standings in the Chess Informant Reader's Contest.

WHY ?

Because he said so, maurice! duh :/

....okay, watched it again.....Tommy still looks worried.

Maybe if I watch it enough times, the worried look on Tommy's face will go away ?

Help me out here................................

Magikstone

My rating is now 1880 on uscf.  My method is working.  I beat 2 1800's to get there and drew against one.

Magikstone

My method clearly works.  if you need me to analyze your games I'll do it for free.

dark_837

1750 at best. They were coffeehouse players.

Yes, clearly your method works........

.......I'm sorry, what was your method again ?

Magikstone

The perfection of the opening phase.  Attaining great ideas in the middle game.  Using as few openings as possible.  Using a computer engine to help guide you in your quest for perfecting your opening and middle game play.

Dirty_Sandbagger

Clearly, in modern days, using an engine to iron out mistakes in your opening play and middle game is completely unheard of.

You sure have the method of a genius there, amazing noone thought of it before.

Be sure to always use a possessive pronoun pointing towards yourself when describing that method so future GMs will know whom to thank for it.
