I am a student at a Sports specific university and been asked as a group to do a Podcast.
We have chosen Chess for several reasons, it has much more potential to grow as a sport and e-sport, it has lots of history, not only in the physical but as a computer game too and many places where people can play these days.
What would you like to hear about in a podcast? Please let us know below and also consider the following...
How do you envisage chess in the future with integrating Web3 (VR and AI included), Crypto (betting and spectators making small donations to watch the biggest matches), NFT's and Skins is there a market for them in the future around chess and anything else you can think of futuristic that you would like to be discussed.
How much appeal has Battle Chess these days?
What makes Chess online a really restrictive game to play?
Do you not class Chess as a sport at all and why?
Is there any top rated English speaking players that would be willing to be interviewed from this game?
Many thanks in advance for any responses to any question(s) you may wish to answer and/or if you wish to be interviewed!
