I didn't calculate it all the way. Looking with a computer the move I missed when I glanced at this was 3.h6 (In the line 1.Rh8 Rxh8 2.Rf1+ Kg8 3.h6). But as I said I noticed the idea, and that's why I said it may be a cute win (I wasn't sure).
In a real game I would likely notice anyway though, because as I said there are some mate threats that pop out. If I were very short on time I would not notice though, and would likely just trade rooks.
