I was wondering if there's a checklist or process, on what to think before and after a move that takes the least amount of time but also effective? Most of my games are 10 minute rapid, and i end up missing certain moves doing a checklist because it takes too long.
10 minutes games are for go to short for checklists.
In a rush I try to do CCT (checks, captures, threats).
If I have time I do: - checkmates - hanging pieces - kingsafety - awkward placed pieces - vulnerable pawns - weak squares - piece imbalances And I define if I am attacking or defending.
