That’s very true there’s really no point of leagues because in a way they’re there just to increase the hype about chess.com and in a way give players a “rank” kind of status. This way people try to compete more, which means they play more games on chess.com, which means that many more premium memberships would also be purchased…. Kind of food for thought ig…

Yep. Its a reward thing - skinners box - to keep you engaged ( and spending ). Otherwise entirely pointless ( but with points )
Recently (a few months ago), I got into Legend League.
At the time I was quite excited to find out what hides behind that milestone.
Underwhelmed, I forgot about the whole league thing till writing this post.
