hi!

I think the computer levels here are not the rating chess.com claims, because i can easily beat 2000 rating, level 16 in challenge mode in less than 5 minutes (i measured time with my own physical chess clock). I can beat higher levels, but level 16 is the one i always win, so i choose that one as a reference.

I usually get destroyed by 1100 and 1200 rated human players in 5 min blitz. So, what are the real rating levels of the computer?

Can anyone tell us what's his rating vs humans and the maximum level he can beat the computer, so that we can compare and calculate the real rating of the computer levels?

Thank you in advance

Ratings are estimates and since the bots don't get their rating through a normal rating process, they can be off.

They can be off, i understand, but they are off by 1000 points, isn't it too much?

How is their rating calculated?

I don't believe it is calculated, just estimates.

Please, could you tell us how are chess.com computer levels and personalities rating estimated?

Maybe you could share a link to an official blog or site that explains it?

I expected this time the ratings would be more realistic, since chess.com stopped rated games vs computer and personalities, which i think was a very good idea, since the ratings became completely unrealistic, for example here there's a video where Hikaru Nakamura can't beat 1981 rated personality:

It's already curious the thought that players lowered this personality rating (hikaru) all the way to 1981, but i will not talk about this one, since that belongs to the past.

I wonder how many points is off each personality or computer level and how was their rating estimated, if it's possible for us to know.
