This is normal. Usually if you lose the queen there is no chance of saving the game. However, if its a game between 2 players rated under 1000 it is very much worth playing on because blunders are everywhere.
What's up with people resigning after loosing the queen

Exactly, they keep resigning in ranks that are considered for training, if this keeps up I will reach high ranks with most of my games uncompleted, then I won't be able to go any further while playing with the pros, because I barely got experience!

Well nothing you can do about your opponents choices. Just be happy you won their queen, they resigned without fighting, and now your rating improves so you get to test yourself vs stronger players.
It's funny that both this and "why don't they resign" are common questions. I say take the points and run, and so long as an opponent isn't stalling, resigning/not resigning is a personal choice and not a bad thing one way or the other

Well, unless it's a bullet game, it's usually pointless to keep playing after losing the queen. Personally, I always resign on the spot if I lose the queen for anything less than a rook and a minor piece, or a positional advantage that I find equivalent to that.

You could, say, play a given position in the analysis section and see how the game might turn out to be.
Hello, so a quarter of the people I played with resigned after losing the queen even at the start of the game, do they realize they can continue playing after that? I think I should be able to report such habits, at least give them their own rooms so I don't have to meet them! I want to play chess not gain points.
I'm new to the game, is this something normal?
