When a piece is under attack...

... you just put another of your pieces en prise. Cool

In this game my opponente attacked my rook with his knight thinking, maybe, that I had to retreat it and lose a valuabe tempo while helping him to post his knight on a good spot.

Well, I had already predicted his move and had a counter blow in store. Objectively speaking maybe 19. ... Nh5 wasn't my best move in the position but as always I go for what I see to give me the best practical chances.

20. ... Rf3 is the kind of move I like to do whenever I have the chance: I just love to stop a pawn with one of my rooks.

Even though my opponent chose not to take the knight his destiny was sealed either way. So without further ado here it is:

Hi!

It was a fun game to be played. Maybe in the future I'll dig up my older chess.com games if I find them interesting too.

What were the time controls this game?  Looks like a 1 min game the way white played the opening.

I think it was a 5 day per move game. Either that or a 7 day per move but I'm more inclined to 5 day per move.

And what about some of my doubtful opening moves?
