When Chess gets "Solved"...

I think all of the games will be draw if that is the case. And if that happens, I would no longer play Classical Chess, and will shifted to Fischer Random (in which, for me is so COOL).

There is no need for definite solutions to every possible game of chess when chess computers will eventually be able to win every game, and we already know that not all games will lead to a draw.
I just worry chess will dry up like checkers did. There use to be alot of checker tourneys around. Now there is next to nothing. Competitive checkers is all but over. Its nothing like it use to be 15 years ago.

Checkers has already been solved, and still millions of people still play it! What makes you guys think that chess will lose its vibe?

Chess will probably not be solved in our lifetime, so there's no need to worry...

Exactly
can never say

I am a Muslim. .İslam is perfect.. But I am . not..lf ..I make a mistake Do not blame Islam. .But blame me..

I think that if chess gets solved, the solution will be just to make the board a bit more complicated, one way or another. Say, 10 x 10 with 4 more pieces. Then the engine that solved chess will face a new challenge and might get beaten by a stronger engine...

It occurs to me that chess might not be a puzzle, and by that logic, might not have a "solution".
@Kami5909 :
Dear chess-friend, Please keep in mind that the word "solution" has a slightly different meaning in this context. From a mathematical game-theoretical point of view we say that the game is "solved" as soon as we know whether Player White (who makes the start) has a guaranteed winning strategy. Thereby, a "winning strategy" must be understood as the existence of a "path" through the game's entire "state space" that always leads to a check-mate for White, regardless of how Black is responding, as long as White does not deviate from this path. The "state space" of the game consists of the HUGE set of all possible combinations of positions (a.k.a. configurations) of the pieces on the board. A "path" through this state space consists of consecutive configurations that are "reachable" from each other via the "legal" moves which the chess pieces can make according to the rules of Chess. To-date it is un-known whether such a "path" (i.e.: the winning strategy for White) exists; that's why people are still playing the game. Assume that such a path would become known one day in future (maybe with help from enormously huge computers), then the game would become boring because every White player could then simply follow the steps to certain victory from a book in which such path could be printed.
Kind regards
If chess is solved, it will still keep all of its mystery for people, as the solution would take moer than 50 lifetimes to read for humans. It would not affect the game for most people, as it is too complicated a game to be known to our species.
