When do you reset your puzzle rating?

I like to reset whenever I hit my first brain fog after hitting a new high. This allows me to keep on winning, which keeps me going and also allows me to study basics.
Previously I never reset my puzzle rating but it made me feel like I was accomplishing absolutely nothing.
How does everyone else do this?

Hm that’s actually pretty smart I might try that out. I knew you could reset your rating, but I’ve never actually done it.

Wjen you reset, do you lose your stats such as # of puzzles solved, time spent solving, etc?

I just reset my puzzle rating.  I'm much slower with the lower puzzles now because I **know** I'm supposed to get them right.

Surprised that I'm learning still by doing this.

Outmachin

Never. Having the hard puzzles force me to spend time making sure I have the right solution.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm also interested in this question. I took an extended break from chess/puzzles and now i'm just trash, lol
