when fide going to make automatic clock

There are FIDE approved DGT boards linked to DGT clocks. These even generate a scoresheet.

Yes I know about the board why the clock aren't automatic why players still press the clock I want ppl who good at chess to win not ppl who good at pressing a clock

Why then players still have to press clock if there is dgt clock.. I'm impressed with the dtg board and how it record game it amazing I want technology to be in chess better than normal boards and automatic clocks and no pressing clock
The problem is not the technology, which is available, but the Laws of Chess:
6.2.1
During the game each player, having made his move on the chessboard, shall stop his own clock and start his opponent’s clock (that is to say, he shall press his clock). This “completes” the move.

As long as DGT boards and clocks are not common place, i.e. more affordable, Law 6.2.1 is unlikely to change. They could amend it to make clock pressing optional in case of DGT board and clock.

Interesting so maybe they would change that rule I hope they change fast and make dgt board the main thing across

So what happened exactly? Did your opponent play illegal moves or did you forget to hit the clock? Or both?

I had winning position and my oppenet is lower elo than me. I made one illegal move regarding the clock as I pressed it without making a move and done another illegal move regarding the clock again the game declared lost even though it's winning game for me

If one doesn´t have all the skills needed to win one isn´t really good at playing chess. Simple as that.

I still don't understand any of it. Why did you keep pressing the clock without making a move?
