Like a lot of chess.com stalwarts I have a number of online games on the go at any one time.
I like to make my moves regularly, as much out of consideration of my opponent as a desire to get on with the game. As a rule, I try to move twice a day (once at the start and once at the end). Some folk don't operate like that - fine - others do - even better ...
... but here is the chruch - such is the addictive nature of playing, I tend to return to the games, especially when with an interesting opponent or the game interests (usually if I'm winning), more often than that.
The danger is in my enthusiasm I make the wrong move and end up losing - the moral then is to think and think again and if need be come back later and only play if you are sure (time will tell if you are right or not). Moral: only move on a clear head and given full consideration of the alternatives!
good! But, through time (move in __ days), seeing this position you remember his version of the game, and don't hesitate (!) doing the move - probably wrong...
Conclusion - think every time when see this position. Right?
