Or both with one shot?

Literally or figuratively? Literally never, but figuratively blunders in otherwise won games can lead to a little whining.

What if losing this game:

(For those unfamiliar, in "The Seventh Seal", a knight, in the process of losing his faith in God in the aftermath of the Crusades, plays a game of chess against Death, with accordingly high stakes)

About 5 minutes ago. And before that, 10 minutes ago, and then 15 minutes ago, and then 20 minutes ago......

I have been in a pretty bad slump the last 2 weeks.

But aren't you supposed to lose?  Darn, I've been doing it wrong all this time? Foot in mouth

Thank you, ivanx00... That sounded real... I felt many times like crying, but the last time I actually cried after losing a chess game was when I was about 8.... 3 decades seem to make a big difference.

If crying means punching the wall with your fist, throwing your mouse out the window, punching your monitor, or typing some inappropriate message to your opponent, then I have had my share of crying.

Cry? Really? With so many problems in life, I don't understand why anyone would cry or even get mad over a chess or any game. Frustrated..sure but to punch something and break it? You need to go to Chess Anger Management or start a forum for one:)

You are hindering your development if you cry over lost games. You want to win too badly if you cry after a loss. You need to work on your mental game.
