The nice thing about lichess is this basically never happens, because premoves don't cost time.

I've lost a number of games here I would have won on lichess.
If I have a few rooks and a queen, and my opponent has a few pawns, playing with pure premoves might require 20-30 moves... which costs 2-3 seconds on chess.com, but nothing on lichess.
My opponents have the same problem, so it's not a big deal, but it's frustrating when you run out of time in a position you're used to winning.
