Watched recenly a video from GM Simon Williams blitz chess and it's hilarious, he used that word "spanked" He even get deeper here is what i mean

Well, this is kinda new to me. Most of my games are vs lower or simular rated. Ofcourse i have played games vs way higher rated than me, few wins like a one vs a GM. But those games are just couple or few in a row.
Some players are playing only higher rated opponents. No problem for them to score 5-25 for example. But this is like 1200 vs 1600 for example... Those players still blunder pieces and game can go in both direction. And i dont usually play many games vs higher rated than me, most of the time they decline challenge. Or When i start to lose and i feel he is stronger i just search new opponent. But this time was different. Usually i face sandbaggers at lower ratings (800-1700) and i just ignore them. But now i encoutered an opponent that were simular rated with me around 1850 or so. First few games i lost but i had very good positions. I was thinking hey i can win. Just focus more. And it kept going and going and i lose and lose. But this was not usuall mad/angry with tilt mode. No, games were kinda okay, normal with chances from both sides. But i noticed something. When i think i am making really good, strong move, he just got perfect reply which might no be necessery top engine move but a move that i did not saw.. It's like a cat that is playing with mouse. You know.. the cat is not killing imidiately... Then it hitted me. I am playing actually really strong player. But that was were i was something like in 20 games losing streak. Not a single win. Had few games in winning position but i blow them away. Then i checked him ... well 55 years old 2300 FM player at his peak... I just got outplayed. Is not that often, becouse how many times title player is playing 15 games in a row vs below 2000 amateur..
