no written record from 10000bc. just as likely that chess came from people from present day Ireland.

we all know the queen was at one time a vizier. But that doesn't mean it was first. 10,000 BC predates civilization. In 10,000 BC mankind was still recovering from the Ice Age. And no one knows where chess originated. It could gave come from the northern Asian steppes, for all anyone knows.
